Acid Drop.

Well, I brought my skateboard to it's first real skating session with Shawn, Aloy and Zhen.
And my feelings are conflicting, I don't know weather to feel awesome that the decks not a white elephant anymore, or to ache badly cos it's got major scratches everywhere. =/ Part and parcel i guess.
I was trying to master the acid drop,
for 3 lousy hours.
and I havn't mastered it.
Brilliant or what. ._.

Anyhoo, I'm off for another family vacation won't be here for awhile.

because fridays are my free days.

I've no school on Fridays =D hoho.

okai but tmr's my first official day of school.
so I decided why not I take one last look
at the crazy amount of notes we did on FB,
when we were waiting for school to start.

haha so I chanced upon a note that became a
prime ground for Corny Pick-up lines.haha.
(which, for the record, was all NC's idea =P)

Here goes nothing,

Naomi : Do you have a plaster ? because I think I fell for you.
Nicholas : You're not gonna leave with my heart without even giving me your number are you..?
Nai : Excuse me do you have a map? Cos i think I got lost in your eyes.
NC : Your the Cheese to my Mac...
Nai : Hey I lost my number. Could I have yours?
NC : I accidentally fell in love with you so... I'm gonna need your particulars for my insurance company...
Nai : I work as a locksmith..could I make an extra key to your heart ?
NC : This blank in my phone book is totally bugging me, Mind helping me fill that up?
Nai : I lost a sweet just now, but I seem to have found it now
NC : *Checks you out*
"I know what i want for Christmas..."
And in the event she sets an angry boyfriend on me...
"I WANT HER DRESS LA.!"
Nai : *guy/girl walks into the room*
" is it me or did it just get hot in here? "
NC : Are you a narcissist.? Cause i think it wouldn't be that hard to love someone as pretty as you.
Nai : Your so FINE, i wouldn't mind getting booked for it ;)
NC : My eye must REALLY behold you, since beauty is in the eye of the beholder..
Nai : I went to the doctor and he told me I had a permanent lump on the side of my head..then I realised it must have been caused by you, cos your always on my mind.
NC : *Whenever the girl starts walking, i hum the tune of Roy Orbison - Pretty Woman*
(Hum cause i can't sing to save my life xD)
Nai : Excuse me, do you have the time? I seemed to have used mine up watching at you.
NC : Could you join me for a cup of coffee..? I kinda need more sugar.

haha, well =) , I hope you guys had a heater on while readin all that.
Now you know who to go to if you ever need a Love Doctor. haha.

First.

First day of school.
I hope it gets better.
Really.
Not what I thought it would be.

Curiosity killed the cat.

okai in this case, curiosity killed the terrapin. Literally.

I'm sorry for using these terrapins as an example.
but the situation is really apt, you see.
okai that, AND cos there's something abt terrapins that irk me. =/

Right, So at work there are 3 terrapins that we are to ship overseas.
And the week before they are to be shipped one of em
finally managed to climb out of the container it was in.
The terrapin ended up dead at the bottom floor of the 7 story building ._.

Morbid, but here's the lesson.
(okai but I can't deny I didn't laugh and think, "wow stupid terrapin". sorry =S)
anyhoo, lesson learned - Boundaries are there for a reason

preachy huh, but true isn't it?
the terrapin had TWO boundaries, it crossed both, and it died.
first, it was kept in the container to protect it from being squished.
second, the container was in a house so that it won't be squished.
it crossed both and it was squished._.

and funny thing is like us, the terrapin wasn't aware of the dangers it faced outside the boundaries.
so it kept tryin to claw its way out.
and when it finally did... (everybody now,)
it got squished.

Not sayin that we're anything like terrapins,
or that if we cross boundaries we'll get squished..haha.
but the consequences are definitely real.

oh and one more lesson,
(but before this, know that it's in terrapins to claw at every lousy container they're in to escape)
okai so, in the same container was another terrapin that
was sick when it was young so it's extremely small compared to the other terrapin
that got squished.
so if you think of it, it's size was kinda like the blemishes we humans have.
But ! that in the end, saved the terrapins life,
haha cos it wasn't tall enough to climb outta the container.

okai so the lesson to this is - that things might seem unfair or tough in the
beginning but well God has his reasons, and it'll work out in the end.
if it hasn't worked out, then it's not the end.

unlike the first terrapin. ;)
