If you were to translate this word for word, it would mean "I am at Youth. Singapore".
Which doesn’t make much sense?So I figured what it is really trying to say is "I am a youth in Singapore"
According to Dictionary.com the definition of youth is
1.the condition of being young.
2.the first or early period of anything
3.(the state of being in) the early part of life
4.An early period of development or existence

The youths are the successors of the country,but it's obvious that youth isn't eternal and An early period of existence will develop into An ancient period of existence. (Take example the difference between your parents wedding photo and their anniversary photo.hah)
Thus, it IS known that youths will become older and when they are older they affect the development of the country.

Anyway there is a saying that goes, "It's always better to start young".
So this must be another ploy to constrain our straying youths...
There are situations where youths are sent for scholarships by the government overseas but choose to migrate after their scholarships.
In my opinion, that’s rather ungrateful.
I think it’s a result of a stigma of the grass being greener on the other side.

As born Singaporeans I think that we should be proud of our country. Although our land space and resources aren’t anything to boast about but being a small country does not necessarily put us at a disadvantage.
In fact, it makes it easier to execute laws and manage the population.
A smaller group will be easier to control. If we had Russia’s land space it would prove a challenge to track a criminal down.

Unfortunately, people will start rumbling about Singapore being too strict,but if it weren’t, the country would crumble into filth.
If fines weren’t issued there’d be litter all over the streets. If there weren’t punishments like death sentences, it would be one more reason to murder. If the government didn’t make education compulsory we’d be living in mud huts.Due to lack of knowledge to advance.
Thanks to these enforcements Singapore is labelled safe and clean. I find it rather appealing.

In truth these are some of the reasons more foreigners are looking forward to settling down in Singapore.Youths of Singapore should embrace the privilege of being born in such a shielded and conducive environment and work to improve our society.

4 hours of solid SYF Drama tommorrow!!

SYF 1 month 1week and a day away

okai i'v just got this sudden urge to type out
the gist of the whole play..

"The Face IS the place"

okai so..
I play.. HILARY some psycho/emo kid
that use to be the leader of The Faces,
a group of girls that go around extorting people..
and if you don't pay up ur left cheek gets cut..

keyword: use to
why?you may ask..

because..STELLA, played by mandy
wanted Power over The Faces and Hilary's "ex-bf"
to herself..
so she cut Hilary on the left cheek one night.
and since Hilary's face got cut
she can no longer be the leader, because she doesnt have the perfect face anymore
oh well.

so Stella rises up to be leader,
Along with her minions Di, Ritz and Janey..
They go around the school tormenting everyone from students to teachers

then the play goes about potraying
the feelings of Hilary, her twin Kevin, Stella, the victims and the Faces
and all..

so there..
man the whole plays bloody messed up..

I'v only got one word to say for Sec 3 Adventure camp!!!!
; WORTHWHILE!!

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE CAMP:
Kayaking
CAMPFIRE!!

Kayaking, i think its about the best sea sport ever!!
the two instructors Jon and Wee Kang
were hot!
Anyway...
gosh! the feeling tht you get when you kayak is inexplicable!!
i wana go AGAIN!!!!!!

Campfire, that was when the spirit of the camp really surfaced..
i couldn't ask for more.
There was just something about the Fire, Cheers and Sing-A-Longs

All the instructors just added the cherry on top
of the succesful camp!!

i know this sounds very cliche,
but Sec 3 camp really is the most memorable camp in my secondary life.

i really didn't expect much outta the camp at first,
but i ended up breaking camp with tears in my eyes.
i still recall the day before i couldnt wait to get home.
hah.

it wasn't just the fun,
it was the things we went through during the camp

i will proudly proclaim that
this camp has the privilege of flooding my memory
(set aside the hectic showering time and miniscule marqee)

i wouldn't have left
if they didn't chase us off and if i hadn't had enough clothes.

uggghh!!! Bloody hell I'm missin' camp already
